What to Expect

When a survivor requests emergency assistance through the PWPA Helpline (0800-01737) or a walk-in, our District Women Protection Officers (DWPOs) initiate an immediate protocol. The priority is establishing safety, removing the survivor from the abusive environment, and ensuring any immediate medical needs are addressed.

Immediate dispatch of trained officials to your location.
Police escorts to ensure safe extraction.
Assessment of any accompanying dependents/children.

Rescue Coordination

1. The Call

Rescue request is received. Details on the location and specific threats are recorded.

2. Mobilization

Officer In-charge mobilizes the nearest vehicle equipped with a first aid kit, accompanied by relevant police personnel if the situation involves high threat perpetrators.

3. Stabilization & Transport

Survivors are stabilized, informed consent is obtained, and any critical belongings or documents are packed before transporting them safely to the Women Protection Center or hospital.
